The flood receeds on the bank of the Rock River. Those green mats in the water are not algae. They're thousands of individual little 1/4 inch (~.6 cm) green leaves, floating on the surface. Janesville, Wisconsin (USA)
The afternoon sun shines through the trees in the late summer forest. Janesville, Wisconsin (USA)
The lower section of this neat old twin level overlapping railway bridge over the Rock River, has a wooden plank construction, and some beautiful colors that I really like. I think the color is due to the way the wood has been treated to make it weather resistant. The bridge actually curves on the far side too, which I thought was interesting.
