This is the path from the Finnish to the Danish areas at Old World Wisconsin. There is a tram you can ride if you like, but I love to walk in the forest. These red pines were planted by school children in the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
This path leads to a neighboring farm from the 1890s Rankinen Family Finnish Immigrant farm at Old World Wisconsin. There's a road too, and even a tram you can ride, but this way is quicker, and a very pleasant little walk.
