The soft pre-dawn golden sky glow is very visible on the eastward facing side of the tree trunks in this image, from the bank of the Rock River in Janesville, Wisconsin (USA).
The full moon is about ready to set, just before dawn on Friday, Jun 29, 2018, in Janesville, Wisconsin (USA).
We've had a lot of rain lately. The Rock River is very high. That red in the sky is the first light of dawn. It was still quite dark when this image was made. The lack of some fine detail, especially noticeable in the tree trunks, is due to the low light level. I think that gives the image sort of a water-color feel, which I like. What do you think?
