A delightful walk along a forest service trail to the Forsythe Canyon falls in the mountains of Colorado, near the city of Boulder, produced more flower pictures and fewer landscapes than I had expected. It's a beautiful place. The walk through the pine forest, between the steep bluffs is wonderful, if a little difficult in a few places, for those who are not very agile. After a walk of 2.2 miles (3.5 km), the trail deposits you at the top of the waterfall, from which you can see nothing of the falls unless you're prepared to scramble down the rocks. I was not, so I came away with lots of pictures of wild flowers, and no waterfall images worth looking at. Still, it was worth the effort. This is an amazingly beautiful and unspoiled place. It was a privilege to be there to enjoy it.
