This yellow beauty is Birdsfoot Trefoil (Lotur corniculatus). The pink and white one behind it, of course, is our old friend crown vetch (Coronilla varia), which apparently is living up to its reputation as an invasive species by taking over the territory.
It's mid-day and high summer. The temperature is in the upper 80's F (30 C), and this little daylilly is putting on a display. I swear, I did not diddle with the saturation on this one. I did clip the shadows a little, but nothing else.
